Collingwood Collective 

This volunteer driven five week program runs on Monday nights in the spring and hosts 60+ youth along with 20+ volunteer coaches. Together with leadership from our team athletes this program seeks to inspire all kids to get out and ride bikes in the woods. The focus of the program is riding bikes, developing skills and having fun in a low key group environment. We invite all of the community to support this program and help make things awesome.

This program is suitable for children ages 8-13 with some experience riding mountain bikes on trails. These children should be enthusiastic about riding bikes and bring this energy to monday nights.

New for 2024 this 10 week program is designed to support athletes who want to advance their mountain bike skills and or be supported in trying some local bikes races. This program combines mountain bike skill development within a group riding setting with some discussions about racing. 

Run by certifed coaches this program is suitable for enthusiastic riders with at least two years of trail riding experience. This program will provide a gateway to local organised bike racing along while making new friends riding bikes. Participants in the program also will be part of our kids on bikes Monday nights.

The forefront of our current program includes up to 10 race team athletes ages 12-18. These athletes compete provincially, nationally and also in the United States at UCI sanctioned events. They focus on mountain biking  and cyclocross while also competing in gravel and road race events. This talented group holds multiple provincial titles and top series results. For 2024 These core athletes are moving into a higher level of competition with an eye on qualifying for world championships within the next 1 to 3 years. The race team roster for 2024 is full.
